Preview Wednesday 16th of March 6-8pm
17th – 26th March | Open Tuesday-Saturday 1-6pm
‘Portals and Pathways’ plays with the concept of the choices in routes we all take through our lives to reach end goals and physical locations. At first glance the paths can seem dark, unclear and unsafe but more often than not, once the first step is taken, these difficult, long and windy roads can lead us to unknown, wild and beautiful places.
Having spent the two years ‘in process’, stepping back from the exhibiting of work to find new directions through international travel, Eoin returns to present his first solo show in Ireland. In ‘Portals and Pathways’ at MART the artist will show a selection of works produced in the U.S, Australia, Japan and the U.K and Ireland over the past 12 months. Complementing this will be a photographic installation that depicts some of the journeys and works he has undertaken around the world.
Preview night will also feature a new short film and words from Director James Skerritt documenting a trip to Japan in 2015 showcasing some of the processes of Eoin’s long exposure photography.
