MART is a not-for-profit arts organisation that provides studios, galleries and event spaces to foster and promote artistic endeavours. We create opportunities for artists through local and international exhibitions, creative workspaces and professional development workshops, while promoting the arts through public engagement.
MART is an artist initiative set up in 2006 by Matthew Nevin and Ciara Scanlan. MART’s primary aim is to create a platform for new media, installation, sculpture, experimental film and performance artists. MART was founded on an inclusive ethos, which aims to break down boundaries in the visual arts through its ability to inspire a curiosity for knowledge and education through art.
